Raid Shoutouts
A raid lands while you're mid-sentence, and the person who just sent you their whole audience deserves a thank-you and a link back. This does both, on every raid, without you touching the keyboard.
ExampleStreamer raids with 12 viewers
Here's what happens next.
- In your chat
- Thanks for the raid, @example_streamer! Go drop them a follow at https://twitch.tv/example_streamer β they were last streaming Dead by Daylight!
- On your stream
- Much love to ExampleStreamer!
Both lines are yours to rewrite, and the on-screen one can use your own image.
What this sets up
- βA thank-you in your chat on every raid, with the raider's channel link and, when Twitch knows it, what they were playing.
- βTheir name on your stream. It is a few seconds of animation in the overlay you already use, then nothing until the next raid.
- βOur chat bot as a moderator, so shoutouts keep posting even if your own Twitch connection lapses.
- βA minimum raid size, if you'd rather skip the tiny ones.
